Administration: New Fields for Packing Category, Coverage Option Types, and Commodity Types

[PBIs 458844, 458845, 458846, 475829, OMS-95]

New fields have been added to the Administration module under the Policy, Shipment or Storage Setup menu and on the Insured Interest screen. These fields have been introduced as part of a data standardization initiative for the Oceanwide Marine Suite. These fields are mandatory in their respective modules upon enabling the Data Standardization feature via the licensee configuration. If the configuration is disabled, the fields remain available, however, they are optional in this case.

The Coverage Class field has been added to the Coverage Option modal and is selectable when creating or modifying a Coverage Option. The drop-down list contains predetermined coverage class types and will allow for more accurate reporting and analysis of the coverage options.

The Packing Category Type field has been added to the Packing Category modal and is selectable when creating or modifying a Packing Category. The drop-down list contains predetermined category types and will allow for more accurate reporting and analysis of the packing categories.

Users must be assigned the appropriate security rights to edit these fields. For Licensee users, the existing Manage Coverage Options and Manage Packing Categories security rights are necessary.

In addition, the Commodity Type and Commodity Sub Type have been added to the Insured Interest modal. These fields allow non-assured users to select a system-driven Commodity Type when adding an Insured Interest to a policy, allowing for more accurate reporting and analysis. Both new fields are required, and the options displayed in the Commodity Sub Type list are dependent on the option selected in the Commodity Type field. The Insured Interest grid on the Insured Interests page also displays two new columns referring to the new fields and are mapped to the appropriate database tables in the system. Note that when these new fields are made mandatory and there is no value selected, the system will display an error message upon Policy Confirmation.

Password Reset Limit Updated

[PBI 462757]

Administrative users can manage the limit of password resets sent per user per Licensee site. Two new error messages have been implemented for all Licensees on both Extranet and ClientSide sites to notify users when they have exceeded the limit of password resets per day, configured for the site. Both the Forgot Password/Reset Password screen and Email Password screen on the Employee Profile page have been updated with the respective validation messages.

If you require the password reset limit for the Licensee site to be updated, please contact your Insurity Customer Success Representative.

Email Notifications for Sanction Referred Quote Requests Added

[PBI 467086]

Previously, when a user triggered a sanction referral upon requesting a quote, the sanction referral email was sent to the policy distribution list configured under Shipment Referrals. However, this posed an issue since sanction referrals must be approved by users with the proper authority to action them, if a user on the policy distribution list does not have the Sanction Administrator security right, they cannot accept or reject the request. To address this issue, a code change has been applied so that during the Quote Submitted action, the Sanction Referred Quote Request Email Notification is now sent to the Sanction compliance email distribution list setup in the Sanction Screening Configurations for policy owner company.

OMS User Provisioning for the Digital Platform

[OMS-486, OMS-702]

A new field has been added to the Employee Preferences panel on the Employee Details page to indicate if the user is provisioned for the Digital Platform. The Enable Digital Platform checkbox is used to automatically provision an OMS user and/or employee for the Digital Platform in Insurity Common Security (ICS).

When checked, if the user exists in OMS but does not exist in ICS, upon save, the integration to ICS will be triggered and the user will be created in ICS.

If the user exists in both OMS and ICS, the following details will be verified and updated if required: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and Job Title (OMS User Type, e.g. Company Administrator).

If the user is locked in ICS, the Save will also trigger the user to be unlocked. If the user already exists in ICS and the User ID is updated in OMS, upon Save, the system will deactivate the previous ICS user and create a new user based on the updated User ID.

New and existing user passwords must also be provisioned in ICS for them to send requests and access the system via API's.

The password in OMS must match the one in ICS, therefore a new Sync Password button has been added on the User Profile page. Upon clicking on Sync Password, a modal is displayed. The modal contains the Password field, where the user can type the password which is masked by asterisks (*) when typing. Users can click on Proceed to trigger the integration of the new password from OMS to ICS, or Close to close the modal without saving the password in ICS. In the event the passwords do not match, a validation will display on the Sync Password modal.

Users provisioned for Digital Platform must use the Sync Password trigger to update their password in ICS upon any Password Reset trigger.

Updated Policy Transaction Support for Same Day Endorsements

[OMS-766]

The Oceanwide Marine Suite has been updated to now support Same Day Endorsements and Policy Contractions. This enhancement is only available for licensees who are using the G4 Policy Web Service with the Bridge Specialty Suite. This enhancement will become available to all licensees using the G4 Web Service from a third-party Policy Administration system in the next service releases.
